Reddit user EquinOxx discovered a small detail about the red owlCeleste that manyAnimal Crossingfans haven’t figured out. In the recent post, EquinOxx asked theAnimal Crossingcommunity if anyone ever noticed that Celeste will tell a story about any zodiac furniture that is presented to her. EquinOxx went on to explain that they discovered this by accidentally starting a conversation with her and saw the option for “show her something.” This is a common option for the other knowledgeable owl in the game, Blathers, but most people have never noticed the same option while talking to Celeste. EquinOxx then showed Celeste an Aquarius urn, where she then told a story about Zeus. In the posted image, it appears that Celeste may actually believe in Zeus herself.
Celeste is one of the moremysterious characters inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, with players only knowing that she’s the younger sister of Blathers, the museum curator. Celeste will show up randomly on player’s islands at night whenever there are shooting stars in the sky. When players interact with her, she’ll give them DIY recipes for Zodiac-based items. According to EquinOxx, Celeste will only tell the player a story about zodiac-based furniture such as tables, chairs, and other decorative pieces, as she had nothing to say about the UFO or Rocket replicas that were shown to her.
In the comments for the post, some fans noted that Celeste will also tell stories about star fragments and other Zodiac-based fragments, while other fans had yet to learn that it was possible to show Celeste items at all. It’s truly amazing how manyhidden details are still left to be found inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.
