As far as characters inArchergo, Pam Poovey is a leading competitor for one of the most vulgar and crude characters in the entire show. Few lines involve Pam Poovey beinganything less than an adult. After all, there is a good reason thatArcheris an adult-animated comedy, and most certainly not meant for kids.

Pam was first introduced to audiences as the Human Resources Director at the agency where the characters work, since then, she has more than proved why she definitely should not have a career in H.R., considering her behavior is often, if not at all times, entirely inappropriate.
6“What, What!”
When the agency deals with a Pirate Virus, that has infected every computer in the computer network, they are met with an infinite loop of a green pirate jumping on the screen saying “hunch, hunch!”, followed by his parrot squawking out “what, what!”
Considering these lines are repeated so much whilst the characters try and solve the problem, it doesn’t take long for Pam to start repeating the parrot’s words, as it has rubbed off on her. Pam says “what, what!” a few times throughout the episode, much to the annoyance of the characters trying to solve the issue.
5“You Better Just Kill Me.”
Pam has been on quite the journey from a director of H.R. In one of her best moments, Pam is strapped to a chair and being punched in the face until she is bloody. Audience members may fear for her safety, but soon realize that the person punching her isthe one in danger, not Pam herself.
Pam spits out blood with a chuckle, and in a sinister voice, lets the man know that he better just kill her. It’s a cool line, that audiences can’t help but chuckle at when they remember that Pam used to walk around with a dolphin puppet in her hand.
4“You’re Ruining Your Life, Ya Idiot! And Making It Hard To Drop A Deuce.”
Trust Pam Poovey to know the best advice. Pam’s a very caring character and wants her friends to know when they are making a mistake that can be fixed. Although she can be sweet and caring, it doesn’t stop her vulgarity. Pam interrupts her attempt at a touching moment by stating that she is trying to take a number two.

It’s one of the many examplesof the crude behaviorseen in Pam, and how she truly has no filter on her person. It’s why she is lovable though, aseveryone can rely on Pamto tell it to them straight, even if that comes with unwanted information on her bathroom manners.
3“Bear Claw!”
Pam has quite a love for violence, drugs, partying, and especially bear claws. A bear claw is a sweet pastry snack and Pam can often be seen in the series eating two at once. It’s always funny seeing her eat them, as she rather savagely bites into them whilst resuming to talk, but not before shouting out “Bear claw!”as if a celebration.
Pam has proved herself multiple times as being a great drinker, lover of cocaine, and eater of fatty and enjoyable foods, so much so that it should be a worrying and impressive talent. Her latest love for bear claws is just an example of how good she is at almost anything she touches, even if they are a sweet pastry, not unlike a doughnut.
As always, Pam Poovey exhibits very human traits, more specifically that of a hangover. It’s very relatable from Pam, which is something many wish they had no experience with due to the pain. Pam’s quote is a rather imaginative description of a hangover, and she’s seen once again with her favorite snacks: the bear claws.
The idea alone is descriptive enough. The idea of a group of wild and crazed monkeys rummaging around for marbles in the entire of victim’s head is headache-inducing, so audiences know exactly how Pam feelsabout this absolute killerheadache.
1“Sploosh.”
Perhaps one of the grossest quotes of Pam is the implication of what’s going on down below once Pam has uttered the phrase “sploosh”. Many of the characters comment on this phrase and its vulgarity, but that still doesn’t stop Pam from saying it, rather often at that.
It’s yet another one of the adult quotes fromArcher, and one of the many quotes from Pam herself. There seem to be many things that make Pam utter “sploosh”, some questionable, and others bizarre. All in all, Pam certainly has a gift with her words, and everyone involved with the character of Pam knows exactly what she means when she utters such a word, even if they would rather Pam keep it to herself.
