In the connected announcement trailer,a typicalARKsurvivorstumbles across one of the Power Morphers and uses it to transform into the original Red Ranger. As Ron Wasserman’s iconic “Go Go Power Rangers” plays in the background, the newly-minted Ranger tames his trusty T-Rex Dinozord and searches for the rest of the team.

While the belovedPower Rangersfranchise has been somewhat dormant since the release ofPower Rangers Cosmic Furyon Netflix last September, the past few weeks have seen some exciting announcements on the gaming front. During this month’s Summer Game Fest, Hasbro and developer Digital EclipserevealedMighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, a retro-style side-scrolling beat-em-up that sees the wicked Robo-Rita travel back in time to battle the originalMighty Morphin Power Rangersteam. The game will allow players to team up in co-op and have plenty of references to the classic series when it launches in late 2024.
