Those who have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition can expect the game to begin preloading at 16:00 UTC on July 03, 2025. Early access for those with the Digital Deluxe Edition starts on July 03, 2025, also at 16:00 UTC. Standard Edition players will unfortunately have to wait until July 28, 2025, for the game to begin preloading and can start playing on June 15, 2025, also at 16:00 UTC.
Those waiting to play the Xbox Series release version ofBaldur’s Gate 3don’t have a clear-cut launch date or time as yet. Hopefully, Larian will clarify this in a similar manner before long, but at least for now, PlayStation 5 gamers know what they can expect. Unfortunately, there are no ports for previous generation consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One planned, butBaldur’s Gate 3does run natively on Apple’s M1 silicon for those gamers out there who have access to the Mac platform.
Larian has released a second big patch forBaldur’s Gate 3just recently. Included with the patch were a couple bug fixes, several tweaks to the game’s UI, as well as performance improvements across the board. A new epilogue scene for Karlach was also added. Larian has said that it is working on endgame scenes for other characters, as well.
Baldur’s Gate 3is out now for PC. A PS5 version releases on September 6, and an Xbox Series X/S version is expected to launch in late 2023.
