As reported by IGN, Larian Studios has officially released its newest post-launch update, adding a plethora of new content to the game with a sizable download. The update adds a new epilogue to the game, referred to as a “final goodbye,” with what Larian has called some of the “most complex writing in the game.” The update also introduces two new game modes toBaldur’s Gate 3,with Honour Mode adding new challenges to the game and Custom Mode allowing players to make a variety of changes to the gameplay. The update will take up 30 GB of space post-installation, with the install process requiring a staggering 130 GB.
With the release of Patch 5, fans waiting to pick upBaldur’s Gate 3on Xbox were treated to some positive news this week. Larian Studios confirmed the physical version ofBaldur’s Gate 3on the Xbox Series X/Swill be shipping with Patch 5 included on the disc. The developer did not confirm which version the PS5 physical edition will ship with, with the Sony physical launch expected to come early next year.Baldur’s Gate 3’s physical version on Xbox is expected to launch sometime in December.
