DC Studios has confirmed that theBatmanreboot film has found its director.The Flashdirector Andy Muschietti will officially enter the Batcave to helmBatman: The Brave and the Bold. While it might have surprised some DC fans to hear the announcement, Gunn and Safran knew that Muschietti was the right choice when theyenvisioned theBatmanreboot. “We sawThe Flasheven before taking the reins at DC Studios, and knew we were in the hands of not only a visionary director but a massive DC fan,” Gunn and Safran said about Muschietti in an interview withVariety. Gunn has been praising and supporting the film publicly on social media recently, and for him, there was “only one choice” when selecting a director forBatman: The Brave and the Bold.With Barbara also on board, Gunn believes that they couldn’t have a better team as they “embark on this thrilling new adventure in the DCU.”
