Not only does it have raving reviews (more than 3,500 Very Positive on Steam), but anyone with eyes can see that the game simply looks gorgeous. The players get to care for a group that is trying to survive on an alien planet and mustmake decisions and strategic movesto keep them alive and well.

InStranded: Alien Dawn, the seeds can sometimes make or break the game. If someone just picked up the game and is finding it a little too hard or would just like to have it a bit more personalized, then the following seeds are going to be of interest.
7DUMA-KEY
The good news starts straight away with this seed, which seems to be a combination of very good things and only very few annoyances. In less than a week, the player gets one extra survivor, which, needless to say, is more than valuable. With DUMA-KEY, theplayer technically gets every resource, like chew root, beef berries, and grain grass (it’s almost impossible to find all three together).
One thing that can be a bother is that there is not that much wood available as the trees are not exactly plentiful, but still, it is a bother that is manageable. The starting breakthroughs are Battery Optimization, Fuel Fermentation, Printed Components, Improved Solar Cells, and Hay Cloth.
6FOLD-BUY
The player gets a nice, large-ish flat area, which isa very nice starting pointindeed. All the resources that the player needs are a stone’s throw away, and they can easily have all they need in order to have a good and proper start to the game. The nest is not that close, which also makes things easier to manage.

The only annoyance might be that tall grass is a bit far away, but nothing too extreme. An extra survivor, which is one of the most important, if not the most important things, comes quite early. The starting breakthroughs are Fuel Fermentation, Carbon Wind Tubes, Ore Prospecting, Graphene Solar Cells, and Battery Optimization.
5MOTOR-FIGURE
The online forums highly suggest this seed, if for no other reason than for the fact that it has an extra 3 survivors. One of them is also an early walk-in, making this seed very useful, especially to people whofocus a lot on team building.
Unfortunately, not much else is known about this seed, but it is definitely worth a try. The starting breakthroughs are Carbon Armor, Meat Printing, Sleep Training, Printed Components, and Battery Optimization.
4LLL
This is one of the most gorgeous - if not the most gorgeous - seeds in the whole game. For the players who enjoy a nice view, then this is definitelysomething they should try, since it starts with an idyllic lake, which, apart from being beautiful, has plenty of resources nearby.
Apart from that, an extra survivor is added within a week or less, and there have been reports of even one or two more survivors added a bit later. The starting breakthroughs are Carbon Wind Turbines, Printed Components, Battery Optimization, Chitin Synthetics, and Graphene Solar Cells.
3LACK-SHIFT
Who doesn’t love flat areas? This seed will spawn between not one but two flat areas, which are both amazing. One of them is on a beach and overlooks a beautiful lake, and the other one is inland, but it’s much bigger. Both are good choices,depending on what the player wants more, and both of them have almost all the resources nearby in abundance.

There are also quite a lot of animals around, and when they fight, there is a lot of meat to be found. There are about 5 bug nests in the beginning, and there are two walk-in survivors, which makes this seed even more appealing. The starting breakthroughs are Carbon Wind Turbines, Battery Optimization, Carbon Armour, Improved Solar Cells, and Improved Laser Pistol.
2POWER-OVERWHELMING
Players might love flat areas because they are convenient, butwho doesn’t love a bit of mountainhere and there? With this seed, the player gets a perfect combination since they spawn on a mountainous plateau. The bad news is that there is a nest nearby, but there are so many resources around that they make up for it.
Also, once the nest is taken care of, there are no more enemies around, so it makes for quite a relaxing game, with one survivor added on the first week and the possibility to get even more on expeditions. The starting breakthroughs are Sleep Training, Hay Sausage, Hay Cloth, Meat Printing, and Improved Laser Pistol.
1COW-ZONE
This isone of the most popularseeds, and for a good reason. It spawns in a flat area, and there are so many resources around that the players have their hands full for some time. There is also one extra survivor on the first week, and even though the trees are a little bit scarce, the player can definitely make up for it by planting some fields of trees if they need to build more. A very classic and solid seed that it will not disappoint.
The starting breakthroughs are Chitin Synthetics, Battery Optimization, Balloon Optimization, Sleep Training, and Improved Railgun Snipers.
