In 2022, when interviewed byScreenRantbefore themuch anticipatedBob’s Burgersmovie, Loren Bouchard mentioned fans wanting to see Ginger. He talked about the subject at WonderCon and explained thatif he can cast the perfect actor as Ginger, then the character could be the focal point of an episode. Bouchard said.

“We tease it out and then we’re like, ‘Okay, we’ll do a Ginger episode, but you will never see her.’ It’s going to be Waiting for Guffman or whatever. It’s going to be the back of her head at the end of the episode, gotcha! I think it’s partly casting, right? If you find the right person and the right story, at the right time, then it’s like, ‘Alright, here’s Ginger.'”
