Ever since the release ofBorderlands 3back in September of last year, fans have welcomed the franchise back with open arms. Though,Borderlandsis a series that has always provided for its fan community by way of DLC campaigns, online events, and Shift codes being handed out like candy. However, the in-game event happening right now has begun to make several waves within theBorderlandscommunity.
Borderlands 3is the most recent entry in theBorderlandsseries and is the first game in the main series to come out in the last five years. Since its release, it has been met with widespread success, especially among fans of the series. The newfour playable charactershave also been met favorably.

As previously stated,Borderlandsis widely known for its additional content. There have already been multipleDLC campaignsreleased forBorderlands 3already, but there are also in-game events happening right now that players can take advantage of. Primarily the Door Busters event as part of the Co-Op Loot Drop happening now until April 30th.
Essentially, how Door Busters works is that so long as the player is in a Co-Op game, each vendor will have a legendary item available for purchase. Marcus' Munitions vendors have a legendary gun, the Ammo Dump vendors have a legendary grenade, and Zed’s Meds vendors feature both a legendary shield and class mod. This applies to bothonline Co-Opand local Co-Op.
Part of what makes theBorderlandscommunity so dedicated to the franchise is how active the developers are in terms of giving fans new content to experience. In fact, shortly afterBorderlands 3was announced, 2K and Gearbox announcednew DLC for Borderlands 2that would bridge the gap between the two games. The last DLC campaign pack prior to that was released back in 2013.
Though, part of what madeBorderlands 2such a huge success was how much it varied from the firstBorderlands. Every part of the main game reinforced what came before it and continued to expand upon the initial foundation. This largely came in the form ofthe DLC campaignsforBorderlands 2. So far, the DLC campaigns forBorderlands 3have been well received, but nothing has quite reached the same heights asBorderlands 2. Hopefully, the subsequent DLC campaigns will feature that same level of creativity and ingenuity.
Borderlands 3is available now for Windows, Stadia, Xbox One, and PS4.
