Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s content received new changes in the latest Season 1 launch along with other updates to the game. EvenCall of Duty: Warzonewas recently added intoBlack Ops Cold Warthat would connect it with the otherCall of Dutygames. One of the changes involves the Theater Mode featured inBlack Ops Cold War.

With Theater Mode players can record and review footage from their latest matches inBlack Ops Cold Warfor numerous reasons similar to pastCall of Dutygames. The feature is very popular withCODplayers, so when the gameplay mode was removed from the main menu, players were reasonably shocked. This was part of a new update forBlack Ops Cold War, but Theater Mode was not removed from the game, only moved to a new location.

Instead of being in the main menu, Theater Mode has been switched to theBlack Ops Cold WarBarracks Menu. Players can simply switch to the other menu and will be able to find Theater Mode again. At the time of writing, neither Treyarch or Activision provided an explanation why Theater Mode was moved from the main menu. It certainly wasn’t an obstruction to players inBlack Ops Cold War.

However, this wasn’t the only change introduced to the game through the Season 1 update. One change includes the addition ofResurgence Mode toBlack Ops Cold War. In Resurgence Mode players fought on the Rebirth Island map and were allowed to respawn as long the rest of the team was still alive. If a player manages to kill an enemy from the other team, then the rest of their team members are briefly revealed on the map.

Resurgence mode added an extra element toBlack Ops Cold War, but Season 1 also addedsplit-screen in Zombies mode, a feature highly requested by players since the game’s launch. The update also added daily challenges, Battle Pass weapons, and the limited-time game mode Jingle Hells to Zombies as well.

In Jingle Hells, players must face a Megaton dressed as Santa Claus and obtain new weapons in the form of Naughty and Nice presents dropped from zombies frozen by snowballs. TheSeason 1 update also nerfed some popular gunsas well as buffed some underused guns to balance out their firepower for players. Some of which included the AK-47 and Krig-6 assault rifles, and the Milano 821 submachine gun.

Even with all the changes, players can stillfind what they like inBlack Ops Cold Warif they know where to look for it.
