Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waris set to launch in about two weeks, and will serve as the long-running franchise’s debut on next-generation consoles. This time around, Treyarch is handling the development ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s online multiplayer and Zombies experiences, while Raven Software is taking the lead on the game’s campaign. The threeCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcampaign missionsin question are Nowhere Left to Run, Fracture Jaw, and Desperate Measures. Fracture Jaw is the second mission in theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcampaign, and it focuses on a character’s encounter withantagonist Perseus. The second mission will change up the setting significantly, takingBlack Ops Cold Warplayers to the jungles of Vietnam.

The third mission thatRaven Softwaredetailed is Desperate Measures, and it sounds like it may potentially be one of the most exciting that the campaign has to offer. In the Desperate Measures campaign mission,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers actually infiltrate the Soviet Union’s KGB headquarters. While things will undoubtedly end in an action-packed sequence or two, players will have the freedom to explore the building for a bit.

This is where some of thenew features inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s campaignwill come into play. Players aren’t simply funneled from one objective to the next, but rather, they will be able to explore the building at their own pace and even interact with the NPCs there. There will also be multiple ways forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers to complete their objectives, which should give the game plenty of replay value.
