Those impacted by the issue will notice missing ranks, progression, and unlocks associated with their profile. This means that players affected by the profile data issue will be unable to use certain weapons and gear inModern Warfare 3andWarzoneSeason 4 Reloaded. Fortunately, Activision confirms that no player data has been lost, and a full recovery is expected within an hour’s time following the post from the Call of Duty Updates Twitter account.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Player Data Affected by a Temporary Service Disruption

Although Activision reassuresCall of Dutyfansthat they have not lost their data, many in the community are upset and frustrated with the state of the games. For example,Modern Warfare 3andWarzoneplayers on Twitter note that they’ve experienced lag spikes and other connectivity issues following the release of the Season 4 Reloaded update. Some Xbox fans are also demanding further game optimizations after the developers resolve the issue pertaining to profile data.
