Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Herschel Beahm IV, is easily one of the most recognizable streamers in the world, always seen sporting his signature mullet, shades, and mustache. Most commonly streaming various entries in theCall of Dutyfranchise, the two-time champ is known to speak his mind when it comes to the competitive FPS series. While he feelsCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2is a seemingly satisfactory entry,Call of Duty: Warzone 2is not. Frequently airing his grievances with the free-to-play title,Dr Disrespect doesn’t thinkWarzone 2’s Season 2 updatewill be enough to “save the game.”

Queuing in with fellow streamers TimTheTatman, ZLaner, and CouRage, Dr Disrespect and company were having a dominating session inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s newly-released Ranked Play mode. Crushing opponents with a 6-1 record, the highly-skilled squad was thoroughly enjoying themselves. However, that enjoyment hit a bit of a speed bump when an enemy squad member randomly insulted Dr Disrespect’s mom, with the player yelling “Hey Dr Disrespect, your mom’s a b*tch!” right as the lobby closed. Caught off-guard, Dr Disrespect’s team spoke to the sudden diss while Disrespect himself sat in uncharacteristic silence for a moment.
“That’s coward sh*t to throw that out at the last second!” one squadmate said among other shocked and confused responses. After a few seconds, Dr Disrespect sighed and chuckled about the insult being the one that “got” him. While the YouTube streamer has certainly gotten plenty of salty surprises like the one above, he’s also recently been on the receiving end of some sweet ones.Dr Disrespect was recently surprised by a $500 donationfrom a viewer whose wife had just given birth.
Although extremely rare, the mom-insulting incident isn’t the only time Dr Disrespect has broken character. During a stream,Disrespect received a heartbreaking donationfrom a military veteran who gave money in honor of his veteran friend who had recently committed suicide. Taking a moment to pause his boisterous persona, Beahm gave his condolences, and assured the donator with “I’m sure your friend’s still watching.” Even with his wrestler-like, over-the-top personality, it’s the moments of humility and kindness that show Dr Disrespect really does care about his fans.
