InThe First Descendant, using the right Modules can turn a deadly and challenging encounter into a successful mission. You canequip Modules to your characterand to your three slotted weapons of choice. They help improve the combat ability of your Descendant in various ways, like upping your HP, dealing more damage with firearms, or increasing your shields. You’ll gather all sorts of Modules as you make your waythrough the Battlefields, but to upgrade Modules, you will need a resource calledKuiper.
In this guide, we’ll walk you throughhow to upgrade your Modulesandhow to get Kuiper fast, at least in the early to mid-game, without using Hard mode.
To unlockHard ModeinThe First Descendant, you must complete all the main zone story missions and quests. Once that’s done, you can toggle on the harder difficulty mode to obviously face harder enemies but also get rewards, like Kuiper, faster than ever before.
How to Upgrade and Dismantle Modules

To find the Module Master in Albion, check out the red arrow in the image above (he’s on the west side of HQ).Silionwill have several options to choose from, including being able to Upgrade and Dismantle Modules.To upgrade Modules, you’ll need Kuiper, which you can actually acquire byDismantling Modules you no longer need. In the Dismantling menu, you can even press a button to automatically highlight any duplicate Modules for Dismantling purposes.
How to Farm Kuiper
Best Farming Locations in First Descendant
As we previously mentioned, one of the easiest ways to farm thousands of Kuiper is to justplay the game like normal tocollect lots of Modulesand then dismantle the Modules at Silion’s place. Other than that, you must go out onto the battlefield and complete field missions. Some missions are faster to finish with simple objectives that are the best ways to farm loads of Kuiper, such asExtermination missions.These are the types of quests you should go for if you’re looking for objectives that can be completed in a short time.
Since one of Bunny’s skillsallows her to run really fast, using her for farming Kuiper could be useful.
