Fallout 76follows the player character as they emerge from Vault 76 and begin to build their life in Appalachia. It takes place in 2102, just 25 years after the events that caused the entire franchise to begin. Just like the rest of the United States, Appalachia has seen some horrible times since the Great War and the fallout, and the Vault Dweller must learn to survive in this new reality.
However, even with these horrible times, major historically significant areas of Appalachia still remain, even if they are a little worse for wear. Players can see the Mothman Museum, a significant area in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. They can also see places like the Greenbrier (known asThe Whitespring Resortin the game), which is huge in Appalachia. What Is Dolly Sods In Fallout 76?
Dolly Sods is a region in the game that features Dolly Sods Wilderness, Dolly Sods Campground, and Dolly Sods Lookout. This is also an area in Appalachia that is home to a National Wilderness Preservation. The Dolly Sods Wilderness region of Appalachia is over 17,000 acres and is situated within the Monongahela National Forest.
In the game, the Dolly Sods region is home to the Pioneer Scouts (who are a major part of Season 17), a group of scouts that were having a jamboree in the area during the time that the bombs dropped. Now, the different scout leaders who were robotic are still trying to replenish the ranks of the Pioneer Scouts.Anyone can now join the organization, no matter who they are.
Dolly Sods Location In Fallout 76
Dolly Sods is an area in The Mire region of Appalachia. The region is located to the east of the Atlas Observatory, to the southwest of Thunder Mountain Power Plant, and to the north of Treehouse Village. Dolly Sods Campground is located south of Dolly Sods Wilderness, and the Dolly Sods Lookout is north of Dolly Sods Wilderness. This entire area is where the Pioneer Scouts are, meaning it is a great place to go if players are interested in joining the group.
The area contains a Power Armor Chassis, which can be found near the Dolly Sods Campground. Additionally, players may be able to find some magazines and Vault-Tec Bobbleheads around the area as well, making it an excellent spot to check out for these items.
