On Reddit, player 3bjake ponders thepossibility ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 4’sBlackout mapappearing in theWarzoneenvironment. Although the map takes place in a dramatically different world, the dimensions and locations could easily work in theCall of Duty: Warzoneengine. This idea was sparked shortly afterCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’sintegration, as new content from theBlack Opstimeline started appearing around Verdansk. While this would not replace the current map, many fans would likely enjoy seeing it as an alternative option to large-scale battle royale combat.
The player clarifies their position in the comments and points out that this would not be an unusual decision by the game’s developers.Call of Duty: Warzone’sRebirth Island is a remaster of the map Alcatraz that appeared in Blackout prior. Rather than being an exact copy, fans could see the area reimagined intheModern Warfareengine, and it had new features scattered across the already expansive environment.
