Because this progression set is unlikely to last very long, it focuses on items players can grind and craft with a smaller gil investment, using gear fromthe Arcadion Raidsliberally.

Best In Slot Gear For Gunbreaker
Gunbreaker has a heavy preference for Critical Hit, even more than other Tanks. This is because several of the Gunbreaker’s abilities are a guaranteed Crit, and Critical Hit not only scales the rate of Critical Hits but also the damage multiplier. As a result, both the progression and BiS gearsets below are stuffed with as much Critical Hit as possible with minimal waste.

Best In Slot Gear For Dark Knight
Dark Knight needs their mitigation to come off cooldown more frequently due to having fewer of them. As a result, it is suggested to run Dark Knight gearsets with a GCD of 2.46 rather than the 2.5 favored by many other tanks. Other than reaching this breakpoint, the gearset should prioritize Critical Hit and avoid Tenacity.
