The other, more detrimental change is that the popular FFVIIHook mod stopped working after the update went live. Known as one of thebest mods forFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, FFVIIHook gave players access to console commands that could allow them to change to the configuration ofFF7R.
It’s probable that Square Enix decided to release the patch now because of the upcoming release of the game’s sequel.FF7 Rebirthwill be released on February 29, and it’s likely that many gamers will want to play the predecessor before diving into the new adventure.
Despite not being released yet,Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthalready has excellent reviews, which praise the enhanced gameplay, several story moments, and its sprawling world filled with fun activities. The only complaints so far are regarding a possible lack of focus amid so much side content. The new chapter of the saga will follow Cloud and his group while they travel around the world, visiting several iconic locations such as Junon, Costa Del Sol, Gold Saucer, and Nibleheim.
