Recent leaks have hinted thatFortnite’s map will be floodedas a result of Midas' actions, and these underwater vaults must play a role in that somehow. Fans are unclear on whether the water will drain into the vault or if the opening of the vaults will somehow contribute to the floods, though.

It’s worth noting that a while back, fans found aspecial keycard on Meowscleswhich led players directly to the underwater vault under the Agency. At the time, that keycard did nothing and was unable to open the vault, but now that the vault has opened all its own, who knows what’s waiting on the other side. Despite what many thought, the vault cannot be entered, and looking inside it only reveals a torrent of bubbles and dark, watery recesses. Whatever happens tomorrow is sure to be a game-changer for the ongoing story ofFortnite.

Fan reaction to this has been mostly positive, as many are finding themselves hyped to finally figure out what’s going on. That said, there are several that find the situation humorous, with many claiming that the event will probably just get delayed again before it finally triggers tomorrow.

Of course, this is unlikely, as Epic Games is clearly dedicated to making this happen tomorrow, and is probably just said as a joke for the most part. Still, the many delays leading up to this moment have added to the suspense, so hopefully, Epic Games will be able to live up to the hype it has created for apotential underwater-themed season 3.

WithChapter 2 Season 2 finally ending tomorrow, fans don’t have much time to wait to see what will happen next. This also marks the final chance for players to finish up their battle pass, so those still working on it will want to getFortniteXP fast.
