Genshin Impactupdate 2.3 will bring the double banner re-run which means that there won’t be any brand-new characters in the upcoming three to four weeks. The banner will feature two very popular five-star characters, Albedo and Eula.
Genshin Impacthas introduced two new characters during the officialVersion 2.3 livestream event, the long-awaited Arataki Itto and Gorou. Both of these characters will be featured on the second banner cycle which according to miHoYo’s usual schedule should arrive around December 15.

A recent credible leak on Reddit has apparently revealed the four-star characters that will join Eula and Albedo during the upcoming banner. As predicted before, the four-star characters for both banners will be identical which means that if players want a certain four-star character they can spend their Primogems on either banner. The banners will include the following four-star characters:
Genshin Impact2.3 will be the first update to introduce a double banner re-run meaning that players will have the chance to opt for two five-star banner characters at the same time. This could be miHoYo’s way of compensating for the absence of a brand new five-star character in a certain banner cycle. The double banner will arrive in the first cycle, and it will feature Albedo and Eula, which means that players can already startbuilding the rightGenshin Impactteam compositionfor these characters.
miHoYo’s new double banner works in a way that the 90-wish guarantee is spread between the two banners. For example, if players fail to get Eula after spending 50 wishes on her banner, spending another 40 wishes on the other banner will guarantee a five-star drop. The same applies to the four-star 10-wish guarantee.
Eula is for sure one of the strongest DPS characters in the game right now with a high Physical damage potential. However, her unique playstyle takes some time to get used to. She is one of the favorite characters among fans and she’s definitely amust-have DPS characterfor anyGenshin Impactplayer. This banner is also suited for players who lack a strong support character in their team composition at the moment. Since his release, Bennet has always been considered one of, if not the strongest support/healer in the game, and players should not miss the chance to acquire him.
Albedo’s arrival prior to Itto and Gorou strongly hints that he will have a great synergy with those two characters. Adding another strong Geo user like Zhongli to these three characters couldmake a viable Geo party. Having a party of characters that use the same vision is usually very bad but it actually does work with Geo thanks to the reaction Crystalize which can work independently from all the other elements.
