AGenshin Impactfan shares an impressive character concept that equips the Electro user Cyno with a Sumeru-themed outfit. The last major update added a new nation named Sumeru which introduced loads of fresh content including new characters, enemies, weapons, and regions.
Every region inGenshin Impactis based on a real-life location and Sumeru is apparently inspired by South Asia and the Middle East. Most characters in this region have their outfits based on the traditional clothing from these regions. Sumeru also introduced a brand-new element that had a huge impact on the game’s character meta as Dendro added six new elemental reactions.

The Sumeru Akademiya is the region’s main governing body and probably the most prestigious institute in the world of Teyvat. The Akademiya is located in the rainforest part of the region, and it accepts students from all over the world. The official storyline has confirmed that the institute has a high reputation even before the infamous cataclysm which means that it’s at least 500 years old. The Akademiya students usually have specific uniforms that include a green and white color theme. Reddit user ijr_visuals has created an impressive outfit concept for one of therecently added five-star characters named Cyno, also known as General Mahamantra.
Fans seem to like Cyno’s new look since the post reached over 3k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit. Many comments claim that even though Cyno’s default model has one of the best outfits in the game, they would still like the option to equip him with an Akademiya-themed skin. It would not come as a surprise if HoYoverse decided to add an outfit for Cyno in the future considering that the ongoingGenshin Impactupdate 3.4already added a similar skin for Lisa Minci.
Lisa’s new “A Sobriquet Under Shade” skinhas a four-star rarity, and it’s available for free until the new update arrives. All players have to do is complete the Second Blooming event to unlock this new outfit. Players who want to add Cyno to their roster will soon have the option to do so as HoYoverse confirmed that he will be featured in the upcoming update.
He will appear alongside the new Pyro claymore user Dehya on the first banner cycle forGenshin Impactversion 3.5. Cyno is a decent DPS character who deals most of his damage while his Elemental Burst, Wolf’s Swiftness, is active.
