As part of a new event inGenshin Impact, gamers will be taken to the wonderful Dodoland’s Golden Apple Archipelago, a new map area that was released in the game. There will be plenty of new Midsummer island challenges and acts through theGenshin Impact1.6 update.
These new quests and challenges offer gamers the typical range of achievements such as standard Primogems, Talent level-up materials, enhancement and weapon ascension materials, andtons of Mora. There is also a new set of special rewards this time around, including Fragments of Innocence, refinement material, and Furnishing Blueprints.

As exciting as all this is, navigating through all this new content can seem overwhelming at times. So forGenshin Impactfans looking to better understand what they need to do, here is a guide for the differentActs for the Midsummer Island Adventure event.
Midsummer Island Act 1
To start the challenges, take the Waverider north towards the Hilichurl icon on the map. As soon as players are in range, start firing at them, and the challenge will start automatically. Gamers will need to defeat a total of 13 Hilichurls standing on wooden rafts. Fans can either shoot them with the cannon from the wave rider orexit the boat and face them normally. Either way, the quickest way to dispose of the Hilichurls is to knock them off into the water for an instant kill.
Midsummer Island Act 2
For the second Island Challenge, head towards the red machine logo on the minimap until players see the Hydro Rings. This challenge aims to use the rings to get a speed boost and collect golden coins to boost the final score. Gamers must collect as many golden coins as possible since it will ultimately give them better rewards in the end. Simply trying to get the fastest time won’t reward fans with much, so take the time to collect the Wavesplitter Insignia coins.
Midsummer Island Act 3
The third Island Act switches things up and throws players into a boss battle. The boss, Maguu Kenki, appears in a circular arena and is a Cryo and Anemo elemental fighter. Bringingtwo strong Pyro characterswill not only increase the party’s defenses but raise their attack power as well. Just be sure to bring at least one shield or healer character, as Maguu Kenki uses many AoE attacks that are hard to dodge.
Midsummer Island Act 4
After defeating Maguu Kenki, there will be a ton of new Dodoco Icons scattered across the map. These icons aredifferent Hilichurl campsthat need to be cleared out to gain rewards. Fans can either fight these normally or craft some of the new Harpastum bombs to make the fight easier. However, they will not get as many rewards this way from taking the easy route.
