AGenshin Impactchart shows a huge difference between Itto’s and Wanderer’s overall banner sales. Double banner is a gacha mechanic introduced back in update 2.3, and it allows players to choose between limited five-star characters during one banner cycle.
Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche, is a newGenshin Impactcharacter who arrived to the roster after playing the role of the main antagonist in the previous update. Following that, Wanderer then appeared in the first part of version 3.3 alongside a decent four-star lineup which included a new Anemo character named Faruzan.

The Itto and Wanderer double banner did very well in banner revenueas it’s currently placed in the 5th spot on the all-time sales charts. However, it seems like the sales were not evenly distributed between the two characters. Reddit user RealSuperman00 has shared an interesting picture that shows a huge difference between Itto and Wanderer sales. According to the data, Itto’s banner attracted only around 8% of the overall revenue with 10,717 sales. Even though new roster additions almost always get stronger sales numbers, some fans did not expect such a huge difference.
The main reason behind this difference is probably the fact that this is Itto’s third re-run and fourth overall banner appearance. He is also a niche DPS character whose kit revolves around dealing Geo damage which is not as popular in the current meta. Even therecent Spiral Abyss reportsshow that the best performing party is the famous National team comp which relies on triggering elemental reactions that are not related to Geo.
The new Anemo userWanderer has been one of the most anticipated characterssince his introduction back in update 1.1. This character, previously known as Scaramouche and the Balladeer, was expected to be one of the end-game bosses inGenshin Impact’s storyline. However, after suffering a harsh defeat, HoYoverse decided to switch him to the good side and equip him with an Anemo Vision even though he used to control the Electro element in the past.
Players who missed his first banner appearance will probably have the option to pull for Wanderer in a couple of months. Some fans claim that it’s symbolic that the game decided to place Raiden Shogun’s re-run right after Wanderer’s banner as they can be considered siblingssince Ei created both of them to take the role of the Electro Archon.
