After going through a couple of runs inHades 2, players will eventually meet with Selene, the Moon Incarnate. She willoffer Melinoeseveral Gifts of the Moon Boons that can give players access to some pretty powerful abilities.
We’ve discovered eight Gifts of the Moon Boons so far, which can be found in a table further in this guide. However,Hades 2players might be confused about how to upgrade these Boons using thePath of Starsand what the differentMoonglowsmean for each one.

Selene’s Powers
What makes the Gifts of the Moon unique is that each can only be used once Melinoe has spent enough Magick in battle. Once the threshold has been met, you can unleash the Moon’s might with a tap of the right trigger. Depending on your run, eachBoon will have a corresponding Moonglow, altering players' upgrades for the Path of Stars, which we will get into later. However, it seems that the Moonglow will change each run.

Phase Shift
Your Hex makes everything else move 80% slower for 5 Sec. Ready After: 150 Magick
Lunar Ray
Your Hex fires a beam that deals up to 1200 damage over 3 Sec. Ready After: 120 Magick
Twilight Curse
Your Hex launches a seeking projectile that inflicts Morph on up to 10 susceptible foes. Ready After: 140 Magick.
Dark Side
Your Hex turns you into an Impervious living nightmare with her own abilities for 5 Sec. Ready After: 90 Magick.
Wolf Howl
Your Hex makes you rise up then crash down in the target area for 200 damage. Ready After: 80 Magick.
Total Eclipse
Your Hex blasts the target area for 1000 damage after 4 sec. Ready after: 200 Magick
Moon Water
Your Hex restores 25 Hearts up to 3 times, which reset whenever you use Fountains. Ready after: 70 Magick
Night Bloom
Your Hex raises 1 random slain foe from this Encounter to fight for you for 12 sec. Ready after 100 Magick

What is the Path of Stars in Hades 2?
you’re able to upgrade your moon Boons with the Path of Stars. You can check out the path for your chosen Boon by pressing the Info button when looking at your equipped Boons while you’re out in the Underworld.
This upgrade path includes little bonuses that will make your moon Boon much more effective. The thing is,you will not be able to upgrade the Path of Stars unless you run into Selene again during a run. If you manage to pick a starting Moon Boon with a Full Moonglow, you’ll be able to upgrade more boxes when yourun into the Goddess again. And if you run into her more times during a run, you may continue to upgrade until all the enhancements are unlocked.
