Hearthstonejust released “Maw and Disorder,” its Mini-Set for theMurder at Castle Nathriaexpansion. Patch 24.4, which came with the new bunch ofHearthstonecards, also added new content for the Mercenaries game mode, a new Arena season, and minor updates across the game.
“Maw and Disorder” continues the whodunit theme ofMurder at Castle Nathriawith a set of courtroom-esque cards. Sylvanas has been accused of being responsible for the anima drought, where she will stand trialagainst the Jailer ofShadowlandsinfamy.

Sylvanas and the Jailer are two of the new Legendary cards found in the 35-card Mini-Set along with Defense Attorney Nathanos and Prosecutor Mel’tranix. Players can pull thesecards fromMurder at Castle Nathriapacks, or they can buy the complete 66-card playset from the store for 2000 gold or $15. Alternatively, players can shell out $70 to get the entire playset in its Golden version.Click here for the fullHearthstone24.24 patch notes.
In addition to the new card Mini-Set,Hearthstoneis adding another sizable update to its Mercenaries mode. It is adding 19 new bounties to the game spread across three zones, 11 of which are located in the new Darkmoon Troupe zone. Additionally, players can collect 14 new mercenaries for their collection.PowerfulWarcraftmages like Khadgarand Medivh, Fel and demon characters like Prince Malchezaar and Archimonde, and Genn Greymane–the first Worgen mercenary–are all available in Mercenaries packs.
In celebration of her return in the “Maw and Disorder” Mini-Set,Sylvanas is also returningto the Battlegrounds hero pool in this patch. The Duels and Arena modes have been updated with the new cards, with the latter also beginning a new season, including a new rotation of available card sets.Hearthstoneis also revamping its early progression system by setting new or low-ranking players against AI opponents occasionally to help them rank at low levels. And, as always,Hearthstoneadded a slew of cosmetic options to its shop and implemented several bug fixes.
With “Maw and Disorder,”Hearthstonehas seen its last new cards until the announcement of its third and final card set of the Year of the Hydra. Likely to come this winter, the last card set of the year is currently unknown. However, a credibleHearthstoneleaker claimed the set is Undead Scourge-themed set, and would add the long-awaited Death Knight class. Players will have to wait until a formal announcement to see if these rumors have any truth to them.
