Hogwarts Legacyis currently the best-selling game on Steam, despite the fact that the game doesn’t come out for another month. So while theHogwarts Legacyrelease date is still February 10 officially, those that pre-order those versions of the game can play on February 7 instead. When one considers how longHarry Potterfans have been waiting for a game likeHogwarts Legacy, it’s no surprise at all that many are willing to pay a little extra and take a risk on a pre-order to play the game earlier than its official release date.
While the game is clearly going to be a massive sales success, there has been no shortage of controversy surroundingHogwarts Legacy. It remains to be seen how such efforts will ultimately impactHogwarts Legacy’s sales, but as of now, it looks like the game has potential to be the top-selling game of 2023.
