5Amber
Amber may be only a 3-star light cone in terms of rarity, but it serves as an excellent free-to-play option that significantly enhances March 7th’s DEF value. With the ability to easily max superimpose, it provides a 32% increase in defense. What’s more, it can further boost defense by an additional 32% with its secondary effect, which combined gives March 7th a substantial amount of DEF. However, it’s important to note that the secondary effect only applies when March 7th’s health is below 50%. This condition can be met by March 7th by utilizing the shield on herself rather than on a different team member or in challenging content where enemies deliver strong AoE attacks.
4Trend of the Universal Market

The Trend of the Universal Market is another light cone that enhances the wearer’s DEF stat. However, more importantly, it offers additional DPS utility for players aiming to boost March 7th’s sub-DPS potential. While March 7th is primarily known for her defensive effects, such as freezing enemies, this light cone allows her to apply an additional effect, namely Burn, which scales based on her DEF. Consequently, when equipped with this light cone, she can become a valuable addition to burn-focused teams, particularly thosefeaturing Hook, Asta, and Himeko. Similar to Amber, for this option to be effective, it is recommended that March 7th shields herself to increase her aggro and draw enemies to attack her.
3This Is Me!
This Is Me! is another 4-star light cone option that, similar to Trend of the Universal Market, focuses on increasing the wearer’s DEF, albeit to a slightly lesser extent, while also emphasizing the wearer’s DPS potential. In this case, however, March 7th is not as restricted to shielding herself but rather relies more on using her Ultimate as often as possible, despite her skill usually being the priority for maximizing her defensive potential. It’s also important to note that it offers much more base DEF stat in comparison to Trend of the Universal Market, which helps with her scaling. While this approach may require players to focus on farming additional resources to upgrade her Ultimate level, it enables her to be more effective on versatile teams, such aswhen paired with Clara. In this scenario, March 7th can focus on shielding Clara instead of herself, as Clara benefits greatly from being attacked, while also providing additional DPS support in the process.
2Day One of My New Life
Day One of My New Life is an excellent light cone option, especially for players who haven’t optimized March 7th’s DPS capabilities yet. It focuses entirely on extending her defensive capabilities, even without relying heavily on her own stats. This is because, in addition to increasing her DEF stat, it also enhances the DMG RES of the entire party without any conditions. As a result, March 7th can provide additional defensive support that compensates for non-optimal stats or under-leveled traces.
1Moment of Victory

Moment of Victory is the signature 5-starlight cone of Gepard, another Ice and Preservation character. However, like Gepard, this light cone is also highly suitable for March 7th. It benefits March 7th particularly when she is being attacked, as it further increases her DEF. Additionally, this light cone helps March 7th freeze enemies more frequently by increasing herEffect Hit Rate, which is already a recommended stat for her to enhance her defensive capabilities. Therefore, with its significant DEF increase even without superimpositions and the additional Effect Hit Rate, Moment of Victory is the best light cone for March 7th, although it may take players some time to acquire it unless they are fortunate.
