Best Light Cone
Back to All Characters
Qingque stands out as one of the mostunique DPS charactersinHonkai: Star Rail. Her remarkable damage-dealing potential relies predominantly on luck, as she must align her tiles to unleash enhanced basic attacks that inflict substantial damage. The introduction of Silver Wolf in version 1.1 makes Qingque even more appealing to players seeking to overcome challenging content. Silver Wolf’s ability to apply weaknesses amplifies Qingque’s effectiveness across a wider range of situations due to both of them having Quantum element, and consequently increasing the chance of this weakness being applied.

While Qingque’s playstyle incorporates RNG elements, players should not solely rely on luck to maximize her potential inHonkai: Star Rail. Equipping Qingque with the most optimal relic sets and suitable light cones can significantly enhance her DPS output. Fortunately, players have access to a range of options across different rarities, including viable free-to-play choices.
5Geniuses' Repose
Geniuses' Repose is a 4-star gacha light cone that is easily applicable to most Erudition characters, as it provides an ATK boost and the potential for increased Crit DMG. However, players should be aware that this effect only activates when the wearer, such as Qingque, defeats an enemy, and it won’t activate if another team member deals the last hit. Fortunately, this buff lasts for 3 turns, allowing players enough time to benefit from it once triggered. Geniuses' Repose shines in battles with multiple waves or in scenarios where weaker opponents accompany a boss enemy, particularly if the boss cansummon allies like Cocoliadoes, ensuring a more consistent activation of the secondary effect.
4The Seriousness of Breakfast
The Seriousness of Breakfast shares similarities with Geniuses' Repose, making it another excellent option, particularly because it can be obtained without relying on gacha. Players can acquire it from the Forgotten Hall Light Cone Store byobtaining enough Lucent Afterglow, and potentially from weekly boss battles, namely Echoes of War. This makes it an idealentirely F2P choice, as well as easy to superimpose. With this light cone, Qingque gains an unconditional high DMG increase, which is essentially superior to an equivalent ATK% increase. Moreover, it provides additional ATK, making it particularly valuable in battles with multiple enemies. The buff from this light cone stacks and persists, allowing it to reach it’s maximum potential by defeating enemies as early as possible rather than relying on needing to defeat once every few turns.
3Today Is Another Peaceful Day
Related:Honkai: Star Rail – Best Serval Light Cones
Showcasing Qingque on its artwork, it is no surprise that Today Is Another Peaceful Day would be one of the best options, particularly the best 4-star light cone for her. This is primarily because her Max Energy is one of the highest at 140, resulting in significant benefits from this option. It raises her DMG by 28%, even without any superimposition, surpassing the maximum superimposed effect of The Seriousness of Breakfast. Although it lacks additional secondary effects, it does have slightly higher base ATK compared to other 4-star options, making it viable for any type of content. One drawback of Today Is Another Peaceful Day, however, is that it isexclusive to Nameless Glory, making it unsuitable for F2P players. Even for those interested in obtaining it, it will take some time before it can be fully superimposed.
2Night on the Milky Way
Related:Honkai: Star Rail – Best Himeko Light Cones
Especially whenpaired with Silver Wolf, Qingque can greatly benefit from Night on the Milky Way, Himeko’s 5-star signature light cone. The reason is that if Silver Wolf has a chance to apply Quantum weakness to the opponents or uses her technique to reduce their toughness meter regardless of the weakness type. As such, Qingque can have an easier time breaking their toughness and gain consistency in doing so against any opponent, without needing additional characters from other elements. However, players without Silver Wolf can still benefit from this light cone, although they may need to adjust their team members and switch them around to match the weakness type of each opponent in battle. Even without weakness break, players can still derive significant benefits from the first effect, especially when facing a large set of enemiess. This makes Night on the Milky Way particularly useful for farming content such as Calyxes for additional resources.
1Before Dawn
Related:Honkai: Star Rail – The Best Jing Yuan Light Cone
While Before Dawn is the signature light cone of Jing Yuan, its strong benefits make it arguably the best light cone for all current erudition characters, including Qingque. While most of Qingque’s damage comes from her enhanced Basic attack, she can still benefit from the unconditional increase in Crit DMG and Ultimate DMG, even though her Skill, which doesn’t deal damage, cannot utilize this buff. Additionally, Qingque can also benefit from the third effect of Before Dawn, which increases the damage of her follow-up attacks, but only if players have access to her fourth eidolon. This is because only then Qingque gains an additional ability that allows her to potentiallylaunch a follow-up attackafter using her normal attack.
Honkai: Star Railis now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
