The new features include an “Eye Comfort Mode,” which, according to the blog post, will lessen the brightness of certain scenarios, particularly the one with Seele’s Ultimate ability. Another feature, the “Joint Forces Stages” will allow players to test out specificfive-starHonkai: Star Railcharactersin certain trial stages, awarding them with Stellar Jades, Adventure Logs, and enhancement materials. The last feature involves the in-game messages and chat box, giving players visual alternatives to what they normally look like.

Honkai: Star RailVersion 1.2 will also optimize certain elements of the game, likely to make the overall experience smoother and more efficient. After the update, the Planar Fissure event will let players use their daily bonus drops in just one go during the event period. For certain activities that need completed objectives for rewards, the update will provide easier display access to easily remind players of the requirements. When players are also on excursions, the interface that pops up when they attempt to exit or escape will show these combat objects as well as allow changes to some in-game settings.
