In The Bloomful Challenge,created by the content creator DeeSims, there lies an opportunity to embrace the joys and challenges of farm life inThe Sims 4: Cottage Living.
To successfully complete this challenge, your Sim’s ultimate objective is to nurture a thriving farm from humble beginnings, one that not only sustains them and their family but also enriches the lives of those around them. There are many goals to achieve, so even the most dedicated Simmers will find this challenge difficult. From tending to lush fields yielding quality produce tofostering adorable animal companions, this challenge will take you on a journey to cultivate crops and make a vibrant community.

General Rules
To begin this challenge, you must start bymoving your household into an abandoned farm. The creator of this challenge has built three different farmhouses available for download on the Gallery. you may access them by searching#Bloomfulor#DeeSims. Little by little, your Sims must rebuild and renovate the entire lot with limited funds. The lot has theSimple Living lot challenge, which forces the family to use their own resources for cooking.
As for the household, you may have as many Sims as you’d like. DeeSims has indicated that having Sims of certain life stages can earn the household money for their starting funds. Teens, young adults, adults, and eldersmust start with zero simoleons per person; however, you can addan extra 25 simoleonsfor eachnewborn,infant,toddler, orchildin the household. To make the challenge more difficult,start the household at zero simoleons.

Considering money cheats are not allowed, there areseveral ways your Sims can make money, includinggardeningandfishing. Once the household begins to bring in more money, players must allocate their funds to other duties like repairing the farmhouse, cleaning up the grounds, raising farm animals, befriending the locals, and much more.
Goals
The following sections indicate the goals that the household must achieve to complete the challenge. They are listed in order for optimal gameplay. There are monetary rewards for completing these goals, so it may benefit you tolearn essential money cheatsthat allow you to add or subtract from the household funds. Some of these goals require a bit of imagination on the players' part, as there isn’t added gameplay for this challenge.
Once all goals are finished, the challenge will be been completed, and you may choose whether to continue playing with the family or take the challenge elsewhere.

Landscaping & The Exterior Home Renovation
There is a lot of work to be done in terms of landscaping and the outside of the farmhouse. After clearing all the overgrown foliage and grass, you mayadd 350 simoleons. For the removal of both mouse and spider infestations, you may add another1200 simoleons. There is also a lot of junk around the lot that needs to be taken care of. Earn750 simoleonsper car and100 simoleons for getting rid of the tub. After the yard has been cleared, you can use the money that you’ve earned for landscaping and other decorations.
Repairing damage to the outside of the home can also help earn the family more simoleons. For removing all overgrowth likemoss,grass, andweeds, you may earn a total of1,000 simoleons.“Sealing” all cracks and holesin the walls and foundation can earn your Sims an extra5,000 simoleons. All other repairs and renovations, however, must come out of pocket.

Farm Land Extension
There are two “extensions” to the lot that your Sims can purchase the deeds for. First is theField with the Shed. To unlock this land extension, you must haveremoved all junk from the yard. There are also garden requirements. Grow three oversized crops, such as lettuce, eggplants, pumpkins, or watermelons, and take them to theFinchwick Fair and win first place. Once you achieve this goal, the mayor of Henford-On-Bagley will grant you access to the land.The deed for this land costs 25,000 simoleons.
The second extension is theOpen Field. This will give the household more room for gardening. You must have a total of25 plants,10 trees, and6 oversized cropsto unlock this extension.The deed costs 30,000 simoleons. After purchasing it and reaching the crop requirements, your Sims will have access to the land.

Greenhouse
To unlock the greenhouse, you must first havecompleted the landscaping and exterior home objectives. Then, you mustachieve level five of the handiness skill. Your Sims will be able to craft planter boxes and pots for their garden upon doing so. All plants will grow year-round inside the greenhouse, no matter what season it may be. Once you earn sufficient funds, purchase at leastone rabbit or a flock of birds. Having agood relationship with these animalswill help with gardening.
Finally, you mustrun three different errandsfor one of the iconic Crumplebottom sisters, Agnes or Agatha. Befriending them will earn you theblueprints for the greenhouse. After all of these goals have been accomplished, you may build a greenhouse on the farm.

Interior House
The interior of the farmhouse is filled with cracks. For each room that is repaired,you earn 1000 simoleons. Bathrooms get an extra500 simoleonsfor being fixed. After three rooms have been repaired, you can begin tounlock the boarded rooms. Sims do not have access to these rooms until you meet these requirements.
Remove the boards,trash, andother large itemsfor a total of1500 simoleons. Don’t forget torepair the cracks for 1000 simoleons. As previously established, any other renovations must come from your own money without monetary rewards.

Events & Adding To The Community
Now that the house and the yard have been made over, it’s time to start planning events. Throw a dinner party at the farmhouse and invite Henford-On-Bagley townies to aFarming Welcome party. To befriend the locals, you must run errands for them andgift at least five hand-crafted items. These may include - but are not limited to - canned goods, fabrications, cross-stitching items, food, flowers, woodwork, honey, milk, eggs, or animal treats. Ensure guests have a good time while visiting your home byreaching gold-star status at all events.
The second event you’ll need to throw is thePrivate Dinner Party. For this event, you will need toinvite Henford-On-Bagley’s mayorand her sonto dinner. Here, your Sim will need to maximize their friendship with the mayor for favors in the future. She can “sell deeds” for Sims to begin building community lots like a nursery or a park.

Animals
There are several rules when it comes to purchasing animals. TheCottage Livingexpansion comes with chickens, llamas, and cows. Theseanimals can provide the household with useful resourceslike milk, eggs, and wool. When your family can afford it, you are permitted tobuy one animal shed for a cow or llamaandone chicken coop with a rooster and two hens. You may keep the chicks that hatch in the coop, but no additional animals may be purchased until the following objectives are completed:
Once the creature keeper sees your dedication to raising animals, he will gift you one coop or shed for free. You must supply the animals, of course. to get a third coop or shed, you must complete three more goals:

Foodie Friends
Cottage Livingintroduced over 30 newrecipes for Sims who like to cook. Utilize your Sims' resources and produce to cook some tasty meals and sell them for profit at the local pub. First,befriend the pub ownerand your Sim’s business partner,Sarah Scott, and complete at least three errands for her. You may set up a market table at the pub and sell food Sunday through Friday from 5 PM to 12 AM (Saturdays are festival days and are off limits).
All food that your Sims cook must be prepared on their home lot with the simple living lot challenge. The higher the skill level required for the recipe, the more you can charge Sims for the food. Focus on increasing your Sim’scooking skill to at least level fiveand thegourmet cooking skill to at least level three.

Selling Produce & Grocery Stores
In addition to selling food at the table near the pub, you may also sell your Sim’s produce atthe Grocery Stallin town. Complete at leastfive errands for the Grocery Stall villagerto help them out (before running them out of business). Your produce is the best in town, so townies will be lining up for miles to buy from you. Mark up the prices to maximize profits.
For players withGet To Work, you canpurchase a store and go to workat your Sim’s business. You mustpay 40,000 simoleonsfor a shop license. It’s a big investment, but it will pay off in the long run. This lot must have the simple living lot challenge, with everything sold coming from your farm. To ensure customer satisfaction,everything sold in the store should be at least excellent quality.
Complete the store with bathrooms, a break room for employees, and your own private office. Add sections like a produce aisle with fruits and vegetables, a meat section, and a dairy department. You could also sell baked goods and drinks.
