Resources are plentiful across the many islands in the Indian Ocean that you can explore inSkull and Bones. In Ubisoft’s long-awaited seafaring action-adventure game, you will plunder, pillage, and loot your way to an unforeseenlevel of pirate infamy.
One of the more versatile resources you’ll find isSkull and Bonesis the coconut, which has uses that go beyond being a delicious island fruit. For those wanting to maximize the amount of fruit in their cargo, you’ll want to knowhow to find and harvest coconuts.

How to Find Coconut in Skull and Bones
Before you go harvesting the iconic island fruits, you will first need to know how to locate them. Thankfully, as is the case withmost resources in the game, it is not difficult to identify areas where coconuts are grown. To find coconut, simply open the game’s map and look for the red-purple symbol resembling two halves of a coconut that has been cracked open.
With that said, be on the lookout for coconut trees when you are walking through the many island settlements inSkull and Bones. Those that are smaller and less established may also be home to coconut trees and won’t require any effort to harvest them. When on an island with coconut trees, simply walk to the tree and any stray fruits that have fallen on the ground will be available for you to loot. If you don’t feel like sailing to a coconut-spawning area, you can alternativelyfast travel to another islandand try your luck there.

How to Harvest Coconut in Skull and Bones
Harvesting the many resources inSkull and Bonesgenerally follows the same process across all collectible consumables, and acquiring coconuts is no different. As is the case with otheruseful materials such as Jute, you will need to complete a mini-game in order to harvest the fruit. You will be rewarded for timing your strokes right, or punished if you mistime your button inputs.
To harvest coconuts, you will need to sail your ship next to a coconut tree and press the indicated button. Once the mini-game commences, you will be tasked with pressing another indicated button as the icon passes over the yellow and green zones. You will harvest the fruit if you press the button in both zones, but you will receive a resource bonus if you manage to hit it in the green zone. If you miss both zones, your harvest willcome to an abrupt end.

Coconut trees don’t seem to grow as quickly as some other resources, so you may encounter some empty trees on your travels, particularly if someone has recently visited them.Be on the lookout for trees that have big green leaveson them, as this indicates an abundance of fruit on them.
