He was stopped by the police while driving in Houston and decided to begin streaming his arrest. In the video, he announces that he is going to jail, claiming that he could have paid off the warrant before, but did not have the time because he was occupied making videos. JiDion seemed not to take the situation very seriously, as he asked the police officer to pose for a picture during the arrest, so he could get a thumbnail for the video. Then, he posed in multiple positions with quirky reactions before he was finally taken to the police department.

The arrest was related to a “prank” which happened on Valentine’s Day, in which the content creator Damii participated as well. During the occasion, the duo invaded a class at the University of Houston and gave a female professor a teddy bear and flowers while filming the situation. The professor was not happy and asked them to leave several times, as they were disrupting the class, but the two declined, only leaving the premises when she threatened to call security. This led the university staff to go to the police, whoput out a warrant for JiDionrelated to trespassing while evading the place.

JiDion’s career has been suffering a certain downfall lately. Not only was he arrested butJiDion was evicted from his homelast year. At the moment, it’s unclear whether JiDion will remain in jail for long. His manager Mams Taylor was watching the live stream of the arrest, and their lawyer was already notified of the situation, so it’s unlikely that they will sit idly while the influencer stays under arrest.
