Lost Ark’s Wreck the Halls update is coming tomorrow, December 14, with lots of new content, particularly new raids, a new advanced class, and a new island for holiday festivities. TheLost Arkupdate will also be taking further steps to work on the bot problem, while a new bracelet accessory brings some additional gearing mechanics into the game.
Although the game has been popular in Korea since 2019,Lost Arkbroke recordswhen Amazon Games brought it to western audiences earlier this year with a massive Steam release. The game’s free-to-play model attracted droves of players, while the addicting combination ofDiablo-style action-RPG combat and a huge MMORPG-style world keeps players entertained with plenty of activities. The Western edition ofLost Arkis a few years behind the original Korean, so many of the game’s updates are focused on bringing in Korean features at a steady pace rather than immediately dropping Western players into the current endgame.

Like otherseasonalLost Arkupdates, Wreck the Halls comes with some festive flare along with the standard content. One of the biggest additions this time around is the new Summoner advanced class for Mages, which calls upon a variety of elemental spirits that each have their own abilities. Summoners have five different elementals they can summon, making them highly adaptable as they switch between summons for the task at hand. On the holiday side, the new Festivity Island hosts a variety of quests and activities that yield special items along with ingredients for the Winter Festival Cake, a feast that can be shared at the stronghold.
Wreck the Halls also brings another ofLost Ark’s Legion Raids, this time an 8-player raid with 6 gates and encounters to progress through. Players will need an item level of 1520 to defeat Phantom Legion Commander Brelshaza, while an easier practice version is also available to learn the mechanics. Additionally, the Caliligos Guardian Raid features a new Level 6 Guardian that players item level 1490 can challenge. These new raids reward the bracelet accessory, which has its own slot. This accessory can be altered through a Bracelet Specialist NPC in major cities who can change the bonuses on acquired bracelets.
The update is also addressingLost Ark’s issues with bots, with new measures in place to restrict the impact bots have on the economy. Accounts that are “untrusted” withLost Arkwill now be blocked from the Auction House, Market, Loot Auctions, Stronghold Gifting, and all player-to-player trading. Millions of bots have been banned in recent months, with more ban waves incoming. Players can become “trusted” by enabling the Steam Guard mobile authenticator or by making a purchase inLost Ark.
