Marvel’s Avengershas just given fans an update on when they can expect future content to be shown. With a vague, early 2022 window forMarvel’s Avengers' next content roadmap, however, it may be a while until the game’s next events and updates are revealed.
That said, it seems as though Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix’s present updates and cosmetic contributions have not been put on hold for the rest of the holiday season, as it may have been insinuated earlier from their announcement of a much-needed holiday break until the new year. Rather, Crystal Dynamicshas just recently announced that it is set to debut another Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired skin forone ofMarvel’s Avengers' three female characters.

Marvel’s Avengers' latest MCU-inspired outfit is the blonde-haired Natasha Romanoff’s unique, tactical attire fromAvengers: Infinity War(2018).Avengers: Infinity Warbrings about some of the MCU’s most diverse or starkly variant appearances for many of its characters, and Black Widow’s is further evidence of that with a distinctly blonde bob cut and a padded vest. For many characters inAvengers: Infinity Warthese distinguished looks signify character development followingCaptain America: Civil War(2016) and the Avengers' fallout.
But Black Widow’sAvengers: Infinity Waroutfit is given even more significance in Natasha’s standalone movie,Black Widow(2021), where it is revealed that the multi-pocketed vest she wears was given to her by her sister, Yelena Belova. Natasha’s blonde hair inAvengers: Infinity Waris also a nod to Yelena asBlack Widowgives context to Natasha, Steve Rogers, and Sam Wilson going rogue before the events ofAvengers: Infinity War.
Blonde hair is not revolutionary forBlack Widow’s skin cosmetics inMarvel’s Avengers. However, this entire outfit and what it represents for her character, as well as it being a highly distinct outfit from the MCU, is sure to please many fans of both the movie and its adaptation intoMarvel’s Avengers.
Spider-Man: No Way Homereleases this week in theatres and many fans expect to see new MCUcosmetics drop into the Marketplace associated to one or more of the four distinct suits that Peter Parker wears in the movie. Further, fans continue to wait forMarvel’s Avengers' skins for Kate Bishop and Clint Bartonbased upon the purple-and-black garb that they have been advertised as wearing in theHawkeyeDisney+ series.
No news has been shared on whether those requests will be met by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix as of yet. In the meantime, Black Widow’sAvengers: Infinity Waroutfit will officially become available as a purchasable skin when it releases inMarvel’s Avengers' Marketplace tomorrow.
Marvel’s Avengersis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
