Minecraft Legendstasks players with leading the inhabitants of the Overworld in battle against the Piglin Horde’s brutal incursion. With defenses to build, spawners to fuel, and a seemingly endless horde of Piglins to fend off, players will need tons of resources if they hope to succeed.
While players ofMinecraft Legendscan, and should, gather resources from the world with the help of the Allays, they aren’t entirely on their own in the gathering effort. Villagers will spend their day assembling care packages of valuable resources for the defensive effort, depositing them into their Village Chest for the player to retrieve at their leisure. Making good use of the Villager Chests and the donations within is crucial to gaining the resources needed to win the day.

How Villager Chests Work in Minecraft Legends
Villager Chests can be found at the Fountain in the center of each Village and are resupplied at the start of each day by the Villagers,assuming the Fountain hasn’t been reduced to zero health and rendered inoperable.
Players can head over to the chest and hold down the interact button to crack it open. When opened, it will automatically deposit into the player’s resources, and anything the player cannot carry will be left in the chest for later. All Villages will supply players with Wood and Stone in great quantities, along with a decent amount of Prismarine. Still, players needing other resources will need to seek out specific villages.
On the World Map, players can move the cursor over a village to see what special resource the village gathers; this can be coal, iron, diamond, or redstone. There’s usually at least one village for each resource created on World Generation, so players in need of a specific resource are unlikely to have too much trouble tracking it down.
Building the “Improvement: Shared Village Chests” will make Villager Chests even easier to manage by allowing the player to retrieve resources from every Village Chest on the map just by opening one. This effectively links the entire Overworld’s Villager Chests and allows players to restock their entire inventory with one visit, making it an incredibly useful upgrade.
By taking care of the Villages, players can ensure they’ll never be short on basic resources and greatly improve their ability to build defenses and strengthen their army.
