One talentedMinecraftplayer has created an incredible cherry blossom shrine. In terms of size, it is not as expansive of a project as the one from theMinecraftplayer who recreatedElden Ring’s Erdtree, but the shrine carries with it an atmosphere that is just as beautiful.

As part of the 1.20 update forMinecraft,Mojang added a cherry blossom biomethat adds the gorgeous trees with pink petals that can be used as a new type of wood. It adds another layer to the already expansive game, opening up even more avenues for players to create unique buildings and structures that work perfectly with a specific vision.

A player going by DungeonMaster1412 on Reddit created a cherry blossom shrine, complete with a Torii Gate, and shared it on theMinecraftsubreddit. The main two-story structure appears to be made using a mixture of wood and stone with moss, giving the impression of a shrine that had existed in the area for a long time. Various bright colors were also used, including reds, oranges, and blues that make it pop while still fitting perfectly with the cherry blossom biome it is in the middle of. The dazzling colors also apply to the Torii Gate, using the same variety of wood and stone to have it perfectly complement the main shrine.

Reactions to the shrine have been incredibly positive, with the post generating close to 9K upvotes, and all the top comments being in awe with how beautiful the structure is. In response to some comments, DungeonMaster1412 revealed how they spent a day studying Japanese architecture to get the roofing right, and that fence gates were used to shape the roof along with cocoa beans being used for the lamps. According to DungeonMaster1412, the trees beside the shrine had taken 4–5 hours by themselves. Another user left a comment hailing the shrine as a wonderful example showing whatMinecraft’s 1.20 update is capable ofbefore asking what shaders for the game the creator was using.

Given howMinecraftis known for players' phenomenal creativity, the newest update will only push that creativity forward.
