Monster Hunter Worldhas been a huge success for Capcom since it launched in early 2018. The game continues to be supported, and the next version update is on the way forMonster Hunter Worldin December.
In a tweet from the officialMonster HunterTwitter page, Capcom revealed some juicy info about the next update; Iceborne Version 15.10. The changes incontent forMonster Hunter Worldwill revolve around quests, allowing players to enjoy them in more ways than before.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the update is that virtually all the Event Quests will now be live moving forward, like the recentHalloween update forMonster Hunter World. Event Quests are tasks that players can compete to earn rewards, but usually, they are available as limited-time events. Now, with this update and change that will arrive in December, players can enjoy those tasks and receive all the goodies.
Astera and Seliana Festswill now rotate every two weeks moving forward. Players will have the opportunity to enjoy fests like the Spring Blossom, Summer Twilight, Autumn Harvest, Winter Star, and Appreciation Fest. This is especially exciting for anyone who missed the content initially, or those who recently picked up the game.
One of the other changes in the 15.10 update regardsSafi’jiiva Siege, a challenging quest, will now be scalable for one or two Hunters. This would likely mean that the difficulty level will be different when less than a full squad jumps in to take down the monster.
Monster Hunter Worldbecame the best selling Capcom game ever only a few months after it launched, and theIceborne expansion added 5 million more sales. There’s little doubt that the action-adventure co-op game has been a big success. The franchise has been a favorite for many, often being played and enjoyed on Nintendo consoles and among the Japanese audience, butWorldhelped the series branch out to a much wider audience, with a graphical presentation that the series hadn’t seen before.
TheMonster Hunter Serieswill no longer have numbered entriesmoving forward, with Capcom leaning towards subtitles likeWorld,as well asRiseandGenerations.Riseis a Switch exclusive and looks extremely interesting. But withWorldcoming to a close, it will be very interesting to see how Capcom follows up the Xbox One, PS4, and PC spin on the series with perhaps a next-generation entry on the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
