Summary
Once Humanis afree-to-playhorror survival game that incorporates a variety of gameplay styles, such as competitive PvP and narrative-driven mission progression. The game unfolds over a season divided into six phases, with each phase introducing new gameplay elements and options.
In many ways,Once Humanis old school when it comes tofarmingmaterials and loot. Some resources, such as acid, are absolutely vital to farm in large quantities, and blueprints can only be unlocked by farming loot crates. There are some loot locations inOnce Humanthat are more profitable and efficient than others though, as these offer the most loot in the shortest time, expending the least ammo.

7Brookham
Low-Level Acid Farming
Brookham is a level 9 polluted POI, meaning that it is the perfect place for new players to farm acid if they need it. The random loot is also useful to new players, although less useful once a player hits around level 15 in thissurvival shooter.
The gear and weapon chests in this POI can give equipment including weapons and armor that are appropriate for new players as well. Higher-level players looking for a good acid farm should avoid low-level POIs such as Brookham, for two reasons. Firstly, the enemies drop less acid, and secondly, low-level players need to kill these enemies for quests, so high-level players killing them all is a little unfair.

6High Banks
Another Low-Level Acid Farm
As a level 13 polluted POI, High Banks is another great place for newish players to farm acid. And as with Brookham, the gear and weapon crates will provide useful loot for players of the correct level. And once again, high-level players will get little benefit from farming such a low-level POI and are better off just leaving it alone.
The loot crates and the randomly scattered loot are needed for crafting mid-game items and for building base structures, so it is well worth players spending some time farming loot at High Banks before progressing to the nextopen-worldmap zone.

5Greywater Industrial Zone
Mid-Level Acid Farm
For players around level 30, Greywater Industrial Zone is the best place tofarm acidin the game. And just as importantly, it provides loot that a mid-level player is going to need to complete some of their journey tasks as well.
As a polluted POI, it does have a pretty nasty boss wandering around, so low-level players would be better off farming one of the two POIs that were covered in a previous section. For players up to around level 35, this POI is still worth farming, as the player will not have gained access to tier 5 weapons and gear yet, making the more advanced POIs a little tough to farm without spending a fortune on materials for ammo and activators.

4White Cliff
High-Level Crate Farming
White Cliff is a level 50 Rosetta POI, and it is a tough one for players who are either too low-level or don’t have decent gear. However, once a player has access to tier 5 armor and weaponry, and has suitably upgraded it through the calibration process, they should be able to tackle this POI without too many problems.
This isn’t an acid farming location, the value of this POI is the fact that it is a great source ofAutomatic Parts, and also has a great many loot crates, including gear and weapon crates that give end-game, high-level loot, weapons, and armor.

1Securement Silos
Instanced Dungeons
Once a player hits level 50, Securement Silos are arguably the best place to start farming for loot and materials. Especially the ones that are infested with deviations, rather than Rosetta humanoids.
The great thing about farming Securement Silos is that they all have a mini-boss and a final boss, that give great loot and also rare currencies and energy links. Of course, to farm these locations efficiently, a player needs a tier 5 weapon and armor that has been at least somewhat calibrated. Don’t forget to take a fewAdrenaline Shotsas well, as a death inside the silo means exiting the instance and resetting it if the player can’t self-res inside.
