One Piecehas been providing readers with an absurd amount of information, which they have been asking for a very long time. InOne PieceChapter 1068, Oda changed things up a bit and decided to focus more on the action. At the beginning of the Egghead Island arc, it was revealed that Vegapunk’s life was under threat.
The World Government had ordered Rob Lucci to get rid of all thebodies of Dr. Vegapunk. In the chapters that followed, the story explored other important things, and CP0 did not make an appearance until chapter 1067. As the assassins arrived at their destination, Shaka, and co. braced themselves for a possible fight.

The Beginning of The Onslaught
CP0 is the World Government’smost trusted organization. The agents working in this group are the cream of the crop, and they have a very high success rate, which is why they are assigned the most important missions. So, when the World Government ordered Lucci to take down Vegapunk, they were confident that he would get the job done. Upon their arrival on Egghead Island, Rob Lucci and co. were greeted by the presence of the Sea Beasts. Sensing their hostility, it didn’t take long for CP0 to open fire and destroy one of them.
Lucci talked to Pythagoras and asked for permission to dock, but the latter declined. He told Lucci to leave S-Bear and consider their mission complete. However, Lucci is not one to play by someone else’s rules (unless they are Celestial Dragons). So, he ordered his team to abandon the ship, and they used S-Bear’s devil fruit power to infiltrate the laboratory. Within minutes, the entire island was in disarray, and there was panic everywhere. Seeing the commotion, Atlas decided to confront CP0, and that’s when things began to go downhill.

Lucci vs Atlas
Atlas made a rather foolish decision to try and attack one of the strongest assassins of the World Government, and it was obvious that it was not going to end well for her. As she began to charge, Lucci transformed into his hybrid form and immediately attacked her with the Six King Pistol. The attack caused significant damage to Atlas, especially to her left eye, which appeared to have been completely destroyed.

It is safe to assume that Atlas is the strongest of all the satellites and by putting her out of commission, Lucci has nullified their threat. By attacking Atlas, Lucci officially declared war on Vegapunk. Luckily, the satellite managed to survive, but before Lucci could finish her off, something else caught his eye.
Chaos Begins
Vegapunk created the six satellites to improve the quality of his work and get it done expeditiously. By nearly destroying one of his bodies, Lucci has made it clear that he is not there to mess around. Before Lucci could cause any further damage, he saw Luffy running away. This is a huge moment considering they haven’t been face-to-face since the Enies Lobby arc.
SeeingLuffy on Egghead Island mightcause Lucci to change his plan. In the Wano Country arc, Guernica was ordered to eliminate Luffy by the Five Elders because they didn’t want the pirate’s power to increase any further. Despite Guernica’s attempt, Luffy not only managed to survive, but he also awakened the true power of his devil fruit. Lucci already holds a grudge against Luffy, and the latter wants to protect Vegapunk, so the two of them have a conflict of interests, and it might not be long before it escalates into a fight.

Who Will Win?
Coming into the Egghead Island arc, Luffy has alreadydefeated the likes of Kaido, Katakuri, and Doflamingo. He is a cut above all the pirates, and only a handful of characters can stand up to him. Luffy’s knowledge of Advanced Conqueror’s Haki alone makes him stronger than 90% of the characters in the series. In comparison, Rob Lucci was unable to beat Luffy despite having Haki. It would be foolish to presume that he would have improved so much that he could push Luffy to the edge. In a 1v1 fight, Luffy would make short work of Rob Lucci. Luckily for Lucci, he has other CP0 agents backing him up, including Kaku and Stussy, who are both formidable fighters. However, Luffy has the support of his crew, the satellites of Vegapunk, and the Seraphim. In any case, things don’t look good for the Cipher Pol agents.
There is a strong possibility that Kuma might be on his way to Egghead Island, as in the latest chapter, he used the power of Nikyu Nikyu no Mi to get out of the Kamabakka Kingdom. It is plausible to assume that Kuma’s vision is somehow connected to that of S-Bear, and after finding out that the CP0 wants to eliminate Bonney, his parental instincts kicked in. So, in order to protect her, Kuma decided to make his way to Egghead Island. It is important to remember that Kuma’s body is in bad shape, and if he decides to take on the entire CP0, then there is a huge probability that he might die. In that case, Bonney would be left completely devastated, as she wouldn’t even get the opportunity to meet her father and talk to him one last time. In any case, the nextOne Piecechapter is going to answer many important questions.
