How To Complete The Wares In Low Places Task
To find the Underground, you must first complete the task “Wares In Low Places.” This discovery quest can be unlocked after reaching level two friendship with Zeki,the owner of the General Store. After getting to know Zeki better (by chatting and gifting him), he will let your character in on a secret about the Underground’s existence.
It’s where he sells “special” items too lucrative to sell at the General Store. Zeki will assure your character that the black market isn’t necessarily illegal, but to keep this information on the low - especially from Eshe. After 9 PM in the game, Zeki can primarily be found in the Underground. Talk to him there to complete the Wares In Low Places quest. He will give you a key to access the Underground easily.
How To Find The Underground
There are three entrances to the Underground black market. Initially, your character must head over to the coastline of Crystal Lake, which is south of the Remembrance Garden area. Here, you will find a large sewer grate that your character may interact with. It will take you to the Underground.
The second entrance to the Underground is located in the basement of the General Store. It can only be accessed after completing the Wares In Low Places quest and receiving the key from Zeki. Behind the register in the store, you may find a room with a glowing blue door. Take it downstairs to the basement and approach the bookshelf. Pulling one of these books will take you straight to the Underground.
The third and final way to find the Underground is inside Reth’s Storeroom. This room is located in the basement of the Ormuu’s Horn Inn. Reth also works in the Undergroundselling his famous soups. He will give you a key to this room after reaching level three friendship status with him. Upon entering his storeroom, follow the hallway to the left and you will find a door to the Underground.
Underground Shop Information
The Underground is run by Zeki from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM inPalia. It features a range of different shops with selections of furniture and decorations, Reth’s soup bar, and Zeki’s Wondrous Machine where you can exchange his lucky coins for new items. Withplentiful gold coins, you can buy most items at the registers in the Underground and search for furniture along the walls. There are also a variety of different arcade games that allow your character to play mini-games.
