This week, Atlus released a brand new trailer forPersona 5 Scrambleon its YouTube channel that puts the character Haru front and center. This coincides with a series of previous trailers that are released every week on Fridays that feature prominent members of thePersona 5cast.
Persona 5is a popular turn-based RPG that was released to worldwide critical acclaim back in 2017 and is the first new installment of the mainPersonaseries to be released within the last eight years. Following the success ofPersona 5,numerous spin-offs were subsequently released, including a rhythm game, an animated series, and the two new games that are set to release sometime next year. This includes the aforementionedPersona 5 ScrambleandPersona 5 The Royal, a revamped version of the main game with additional content, whose North Americanrelease date was recently announcedat the beginning of December.

Persona 5 Scrambleis a fighting game that is set in the style ofHyrule Warriorsand other similar games. This new gameplay trailer features a lot of combat scenes that focus on Haru and what her character can do.
Another aspect the trailer showcases quite well is the story scenes featuring the mainPersona 5cast. It appears that just like the main game,Persona 5 Scramblewill feature these cutscenes to complement the main gameplay. These scenes are the newest addition to the large amount of story content that hasalready been shown off in other gameplay trailers and screenshots.
Having said all of this, there still are some fans out there that are considerably disappointed that the teased titlePersona 5 Sdidn’t turn out to be theNintendo Switch port ofPersona 5that most fans were expecting. For such a popular game being isolated to one system, it would have given so many more players the opportunity to experience this incredible game.
However, suffice it to say, this new Persona5spin-off game looks to scratch the itch that most players have been feeling ever since beatingPersona 5. This game appears to deliver on many fronts in terms of an added story and re-structured gameplay mechanics. It might not be what fans were hoping it to be, but it seems thatever sincePersona 5 Scramblewas first announced, more and more fans have started to warm up to this game and look forward to its release.
Persona5 Scrambleis set to release on February 20th, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
