While it might be hard for some gamers to believe, the latest generation ofPokemongames is only a couple of months away.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare set to launch this November, and they will usher inGen 9 of thePokemonseriesin the process. Two of the pocket monsters fans are looking forward to seeing are Sprigatito and Lechonk.
Revealed during a recent trailer forPokemon Scarlet and Violet, Lechonk is a Normal-type Pokemon that resembles a pig. Conversely,Sprigatito is a Grass-type starter Pokemonand has an appearance similar to a cat. While many gamers have made fan art featuring these two new Pokemon, one fan recently decided to mix things up by creating artwork that combined the designs.

Taking to Reddit, a user known as memepool22 decided to make an amusing piece of artwork to celebrate the upcoming release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, this fan art stood out because it imagined what Sprigatito and Lechonk would look like if their designs were combined. In the image shared by the creator, an amalgamation of design elements from both Sprigatito and Lechonk was visible. For starters, this combined Pokemon featured the body of theGrass-type starterwhile having the darker colors seen on Lechonk.
Other noteworthy design elements included giving the Pokemon a pig-like snout and tail. In addition, it had the yellow growths seen on Lechonk below its eyes. However, the design featured the large eyes of Sprigatito, along with its signature fur that looked like leaves. Finishing off the project, thePokemon Scarlet and Violetfan named their creation “Pigatito” and titled the Reddit post “Moeink,” a reference to the type of sound the combined Pokemon might make.
While this fan art that combines Lechonk and Sprigatio is doubtlessly eyecatching. It is far from the only fusion art created by players over the past couple of weeks. For instance, one gamer recently made a piece ofart that combined Latios and Scizorinto one design. Perhaps, fans like memepool22 will decide to make more fusion art featuring some of the other pocket monsters coming inPokemon Scarlet and Violetin the coming days.
Fortunately, fans do not have very long to wait to see Lechonk and Sprigatito in action asPokemon Scarlet and Violetare set to release in only a few more months. While there are still a number of things yet to be revealed, several rumors have begun circulating about the game and its Pokemon. For example,images of the evolutions of Sprigatito and Quaxlyhave possibly leaked online. However, players will likely have to wait and see if these rumors are accurate when the game eventually launches.
