They also changed Charizard’s primary color scheme from orange and blue to purple and yellow. Mega Charizard Z’s wings were a deep shade of purple, and the flames on its tail extended to its legs and mouth. Mega Charizard Z also had extra horns atop its head, and its body had gold-colored markings scattered throughout.
