Pokemon GO’s latest announcement of the event, ‘An Instinctive Hero,’ has generated excitement among fans. The new event is set todebut two extremely popular Gen 5 monsterson the platform. In contrast to the previous event featuring Blanche, the leader of Team Mystic, the upcoming event will highlight Spark, the esteemed leader of Team Instinct.

In addition to Blanche’s comeback, the event will introduce Larvesta and Volcarona to the game. ‘An Instinctive Hero’ is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, June 26, 2025, at 10 am local time and will run until Monday, May 14, 2025, at 8 pm local time. This new event strongly emphasizes hatching Pokemon eggs. It also includes various Timed Research and Field Research tasks, rewards, and bonuses. Pokemon GO: ‘An Instinctive Hero’ debuts Larvesta and Volcarona

Players now have an opportunity to get Larvesta, the Torch Pokemon, and Volcarona, the Sun Pokemon, for the very first time. Larvesta isobtainable by hatching eggs, and one needs to evolve it to get a powerful Volcarona.

Evolving Larvesta into Volcarona requires 400 Larvesta Candy; players must use its boosted spawn rate. As the egg hatches are event-exclusive, hatching multiple eggs ensures maximum Larvesta encounters. The more Larvesta players hatch, the more candy they secure. Larvesta can hatch through2km, 5km, and 10km eggs during the event.

Those who manage to complete the Special Research will have a chance to encounter an Elekid wearing a Spark-themed outfit. Pokemon GO Seasonal Special Research: An Everyday Hero

Running simultaneously with the Instinctive Hero event, Professor Willow has free Special Research throughoutPokemon GOSeason 10: Rising Heroes. The Seasonal Special Research, ‘An Everyday Hero,’ is claimable till the end of Season 10, i.e., August 06, 2025. Players have to fulfill 6 steps to complete the Research Story. Completing them will reward several in-game items, XP, and Pokemon encounters.
