While not partaking in in-game shop purchases or season pass tickets is a perfectly valid way of playingPokemon GO, it does lock free-to-play players out of a number of extra opportunities.
Pokemon GO’s Shared Season started back on June 1, and has been introducing various activities and purchases for players, including therecent Pokemon GO Fest. Now, the game is introducing the Grow Together ticket. The ticket will go on sale on July 17 for $4.99 USD (or an “equivalent pricing tier” in other areas). The ticket will be in effect from purchase through September 3 at 10 am local time. Players who purchase the ticket through the Pokemon GO Web Store will also earn an extra bonus of two Lucky Eggs. While players have until September to finish the research, the ticket will only be available for purchase until June 10, 2025 at 7:59 p.m. local time.
The Pokemon GO Grow Together Ticket Features
Once a player has a ticket, every first PokeStop spin of the day will grant 5x the normal amount of XP for the duration of the season. The ticket will also permit access to a number of Premium Timed Research Tasks that can unlock guaranteed encounters with Galarian Farfetch’d, Feebas, Swirlix, andPokemon GOnewcomer Tandemaus. Players can also add 2 Lucky Eggs, 9 Rare Candies, 2 Star Pieces, and 2 Incense to their inventories through Timed Research. However, at the time of writing, the Timed Research Tasks have not yet been revealed by developer Niantic. This will likely be forthcoming no later than the launch of the ticket sale.
Pokemon GOplayers can purchase a Shared Skies season Grow Together ticket for themselves or other trainers. To purchase it for another player, the two players need to have a friendship rank of Great Friends or higher. Whether purchasing it for one’s own account or a friend, the tickets are non-refundable. With the summer season here for the northern hemisphere, it may be a good opportunity for players to head out with friends, especially with current bonuses specifically available throughParty Play inPokemon GO.
