Released inPokemon XandPokemon Y, Bunnelby is a Normal-type Pokemon that evolves into the dual-type Normal/Ground Diggersby. As of late 2020, Bunnelby can be spotted in the wild inPokemon GO.
Sporting all-around stats, Diggersby is a jack of all trades that specializes in Attack-based moves. Players may be hesitant to use Diggersby because of its Ground/Normal-typing, which leaves it vulnerable to Fighting-type and the more common Water and Grass-type. Luckily,Pokemon GOgives Diggersby Grass-type coverage through its Charged Move: Fire Punch. Therefore, catching and evolving a Bunnelby may be worth the time.

How to Get Diggersby in Pokemon GO
Diggersby can’t be caught in the wild or hatched from Eggs. If players want Diggersby, they will need to get Bunnelby first.
Bunnelby debuted inPokemon GO’s Kalos Celebration Eventon December 2nd, 2020 alongside other Kalos Pokemon including the Kalos Starters.

There are different ways to catch Bunnelby:
Bunnelby has a 50% catch rate and a 10% Flee Rate. Hence, it may not be necessary to use Razz Berries to prevent it from fleeing.
Since Bunnelbys are more likely to hatch from now until the end of November, players can try their luck with the 2km Eggs. However,Eggs are always randomized, and if Bunnelby’s looking to evolve, it might be easier to rack up Candy by catching multiple Bunnelby in the wild instead.

Evolving Bunnelby
Diggersby needs 50 Candy to evolve, which is a low amount compared toother Pokemon such as Milotic or Gyarados. Each time a Pokemon is caught, the player also receives 3 Candy of the Pokemon Species. Meaning 1 Bunnelby will reward the player 3 Candy. Search for Bunnelby spawn locations or Pokemon nests to make this easier.
Something else to do while catching Bunnelby is touse Pinap Berries during capture. These will double the amount of Candy if the next Catch is successful.
With Eggs, each 2km Egg hatched will give 10 Candy. Meaning the player will only need to hatch 5 Bunnelby to get the required amount for Diggersby
Players can also set Bunnelby as their Buddy, as Buddy Pokemon will give Candy after a certain amount of distance has been walked.
