Pokemon GOplayer Interloper_aesthetic shared their completion of the Kanto Pokedex with fellow fans, revealing that their mom had traded a Zapdos to them in order for them to accomplish the feat. Zapdos was the last Pokemon they had needed to finish the collection of 151 Kanto-region Pokemon, and their mother was kind enough to trade them a Zapdos caught back in 2017. The Zapdos became aLucky Pokemonthrough trade, and according to its specs, has high attack, defense, and HP, with an impressive CP of 2002.
Fellow fans in the comments were quick to congratulate Interloper_aesthetic, though the majority were more impressed at their mom’s generosity than the actual achievement. Whilecompleting the Kanto Pokedexis no easy thing, Legendary birds inPokemon GOare incredibly difficult to acquire on their own. Several told Interloper_aesthetic that they needed to do something to thank their mom, to which they replied that they had transferred their Reshiram to her, but that they were also thinking of sending their Galarian Moltres to her. At least one player even offered to give thePokemon GO-playing mom one of their own Zapdos, though the OP has given no indication of accepting the offer.
Catching Legendary Birds in Pokemon GO
Galarian versions of the Kanto trio of Legendary birds have a low encounter ratewhen using daily adventure incense. It’s still one of the best ways to find these Legendary Pokemon, though, but meeting one is just part of the difficulty. If aPokemon GOplayer did everything right and used a Golden Razz Berry and threw an Excellent curve ball, there’d still be far less than a 50/50 chance of actually succeeding with the catch. In some cases,Pokemon GOplayers have used the title’s limited Master Balls to accomplish the feat. For most players, patience is key in getting a Legendary Pokemon.
