It’s been quite an eventful month forPokemon Scarlet & Violet fans, with the developers breaking traditions and surprising fans with aPokemon Scarlet & VioletEpilogue. A 7-star Tera raid featuring Blaziken was also organized alongside that, where the Pokemon boasted a unique mighty mark.

How To Join Iron Jugulis 5-Star Tera Raid
Before players can jump into the Iron Jugulis5-Star Tera Raid, players should ensure that they have completed the main campaign. Also, it is worth noting that Iron Jugulis is exclusive toPokemon Violet.
The Iron Jugulis 5-Star Tera Raid battle runs from January 26th to January 28th, and players need to connect to the internet to be able to access it.

Usually, it should synchronize on its own, but players can manually take part in the event by heading to the Poke Portal and then choosing the Check Poke Portal News option under Mystery Gift. This doesn’t require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, although players will need it if they want to take part in Tera Raid battles online with other players.
Best Counters For Iron Jugulis 5-Star Tera Raid
While it might not be as widely used as Flutter Mane, Iron Jugulis can still be quite a formidable Pokemon to defeat. Not to forget, the fact that it can feature any of the eighteen Tera types makes the battle even more trickier to plan against. If an Iron Jugulis raid has the same Tera type as its base type, which is Darkand Flying, then its STAB will be boosted, but if it has a different Tera-type, then it will alter its weaknesses as well. This means players cannot simply rely on Iron Jugulis' weakness to Electric, Ice, Rock, and Fairy-type moves, and need to have a well-rounded team instead.
Considering this is a Paradox raid exclusive toPokemon Violet, Irogn Jugulis will be featuring its signature ability, Quark Drive. Quark Drive is theVioletequivalent of Protosynthesis, boosting the highest stat of a Pokemon when the Electric Terrain orBooster Energy is activated. This can easily turn the tide in Iron Jugulis' favor, so it is crucial to play around with this ability. A good strategy is to nullify Electric Terrain by using Defog, or some other attack that replaces the Electric Terrain. The other strategy is to use Electric-type attacks, which will get boosted in Electric terrain. However, using an Electric-type Pokemon can backfire if the Tera-type of Iron Jugulis happens to be something that Electric types are vulnerable to.

Players can also use the likes of Iron Valiant and Iron Hands, which are some of the most popularVioletParadox Pokemon to ensure that they also reap the benefits of Electric Terrain. Unlike Flutter Mane, it is probably not one of the best strategies to go against Iron Jugulis with your own Iron Jugulis considering it is not as effective. Other than that, players can also opt for some regular well-rounded Pokemon for Tera Raids, such as Annihilape and Azumarill.
