Xbox Series X clocked in a load time of 8 seconds and 47 milliseconds inResident Evil Village, allowing PlayStation 5 the chance to show off its impressive SSD architecture, cutting the load time down to 1 second and 57 milliseconds. With a load time comparison of 8.45 compared to 1.57, it’s a straightforward answer which one loads faster.
Some gamers may be ok with the slower load times if it means better performance while playing the game. In the case ofResident Evil Village, the performance in frame-rate and visual fidelity is a much tighter comparison with Xbox Series X providing a few more frames per second in heavy scenes when using Ray-Tracing.
