With the resounding success that wasCrash Bandicoot N. Sane TrilogyandCrash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, it’s just a matter of time before Activision announces moreCrash Bandicootvideo games. And according to a new leak, Activision actually has more than oneCrash Bandicootvideo game up its sleeve, one that’s a “PvP” game and another that’s a remaster of the firstCrash Bandicootfrom the PS2 era.
This leak comes courtesy of TheGamingRevolution, who has accurately leaked information about Activision games in the past, particularly when it comes toCall of Duty. They have since made the claim that a new PvPCrashgame is in the works alongsideCrash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered. For the uninitiated,Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortexwas the first main seriesCrashgame that wasn’t developed byNaughty Dogand earned mixed reviews at the time of its release.

AWrath of Cortexremaster would give the developers the opportunity to address the shortcomings with the original and deliver a game that’s better-received by the community. In the meantime, it’s less clear what TheGamingRevolution means by a “PvP"Crash Bandicootgame, but a couple of distinct possibilities spring to mind.
It’s possible that the PvPCrashgame is a new racing game. After all,Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueledwas a big successwhen it released last year, and the developers have stopped releasing new seasonal content for it. It stands to reason that support was ended for that particular racing game so the developers could focus on a new title, though that remains to be seen.
Another possibility is that the PvPCrashis a remaster ofCrash Bash.Crash Bash, for the uninitiated, is theCrash Bandicoot-equivalent ofMario Party. LikeThe Wrath of Cortex,Crash Bashreceived somewhat mediocre reviewsat the time of its original release, so if it is in development, hopefully the developers do something to ensure that it’s better-received by fans.
Of course, it’s possible that the PvPCrashgame is something else entirely. It’s also possible that none of this true, and fans should keep that in mind as well. While plenty of accurate leaks have come from TheGamingRevolution, it’s possible that their information is off this time around. However, it is a safe bet that moreCrash Bandicootgames are on the way in some capacity, but fans will just have to stay tuned for official announcements byActivision.
NewCrash Bandicootgames are rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
